In my short story "Landing on His Feet", the owner of a cat café sets out to solve the murder of a customer who was just about to pick up her newly adopted cat. The story is very loosely inspired by our local, beloved cat café, Purr & Pour Cat Café, in Pawley’s Island, South Carolina.
